Street and Utility Improvement Project

Update: May 27

Work to complete construction of the Street and Utility Improvement Project began on Monday, April 24 with pavement removals and utility replacement on Spruce Street.

Spruce Street will be closed to all traffic between the entrance to Boeckman Middle School and Division Street. Boeckman Middle School and the Schmitz-Maki Arena will be accessible by entering Spruce Street from Denmark Avenue.

Contractors will also begin utility construction in alleys between Division Street and First Street.

All street and utility work on the project is scheduled to be complete by June 30. Restoration of lawns and boulevards will be completed in July.
