Wednesday, March 25 - May 6
6-9 pm
Farmington Police Station

Qualifications: 

  • Must live, attend school, or work in Farmington.
  • 16 years or older (with parent/guardian approval)
  • Must pass a background check (criminal history does not automatically disqualify applicants) 

Class will be Wednesday evenings March 25 – May 6 from 6-9 pm. Applications will be accepted through Monday, March 16. Submit your online Citizens Police Academy Application.

  • Department Overview and History to include a Facility Tour 
  • Patrol Operations
  • Use of Force
  • Police Psychology and Critical Incidents
  • SWAT Operations
  • Jail Tour 
  • Investigations and Crime Scene 
  • K9 

All applicants are eligible for a ride-a-long as part of the program.
