Naloxone is a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. It is an opioid antagonist and can quickly restore normal breathing to a person if their breathing has slowed or stopped because of an opioid overdose.

At this training participants will:

  • Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose
  • Learn all about naloxone (NARCAN®)
  • Learn about Steve's Law (Minnesota's Good Samaritan and Naloxone Legislation)
  • View a demo of naloxone administration
  • Have the option to receive a naloxone kit

Register at Community Naloxone Training by Friday, Feb. 7.
