Initial Notice of Service Line Materials Inventory Accessibility

The City of Farmington has completed and submitted our water service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) . You may also contact us at 651-280-6904.
To complete the service line inventory our system reviewed water system records and with assistance from our engineer, we mailed surveys to all owners of structures built before 1986 to help us determine the service line material as it enters the building. As of Tuesday, Sept. 24, our inventory contains 0 lead; 1 galvanized requiring replacement; 1,934 unknown material; and 5,075 non-lead service lines.
