Congratulations Deanna on winning the 2024 Economic Developer of the Year award from Minnesota RE Journal!
Deanna is the Community & Economic Development Director here at the City of Farmington. She leads a department who are collectively responsible for all aspects of development within the community. The divisions within her department include Community Development, Economic Development, Planning & Zoning, and Building Codes. She is fluent in economic development incentives and packages, and she is tasked with proactively pursing quality (re)development opportunities. Deanna was named EDAM’s Economic Developer of the Year for 2021. She and her team are responsible for leading the community vision and comprehensive plan update process which lays the foundation for a bold future for Farmington.
