Toys for Town

Toys for Town is an annual toy drive organized by the Farmington Police Department to help make the holiday season special for children in our community. The program provides local families a holiday meal kit and gifts for their children. In 2024, there were 450 children from 140 families that benefited from this program. The police department is anticipating similar numbers in 2025.

Requests

If your family needs this program, the department will take request calls through Monday, Dec. 8. Email Toys for Town Requests or call 651-280-6TOY (6869).

Wrapping Day

Volunteers are needed to wrap and deliver toys on Saturday, Dec. 13. The wrapping event will be held at Farmington High School, 20655 Flagstaff Ave., starting at 9 am. Just show up at 9 am ready to wrap!

Toy Donation Drop-Off Locations

The big green bags are dropped off at various businesses, organizations and city buildings to collect toy donations for the program. The bags will be out Monday, Nov. 3 through Friday, Dec. 5. Please complete the Toy Drop-off Location form if your business or organization is interested in being a toy drop-off location for Toys for Town. For a complete list of toy donation sites check Farmington Police Community Outreach & Events page.
