Skatepark

Monday, March 23 - Skatepark Final Design Reveal Virtual Meeting at 6 pm. 

Friday, Feb. 27 - Design Selection Survey released

Monday, Feb. 9 - Design Workshop for Skatepark project at Rambling River Center from 6-8 pm

Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 - Design Workshop for Skatepark project at Rambling River Center from 6-8 pm.

Monday, Nov. 17, 2025 - Skatepark survey released. Open through Monday, Dec. 22.

Monday, Oct. 20, 2025 - Spohn Ranch Inc. is approved by city council and awarded the design and construction contract for the skatepark

Playground

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 - Ribbon cutting for new playground will be at 6:30 pm. The playground includes several new pieces to the park system including an inclusive whirl, cyclo clone climber, and zip lines. The equipment and surfacing were purchased with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and a grant from Minnesota Energy Resources. 

Monday, July 1, 2024 - New playground is open for use. Old playground is now out of service. Please stay out of snow fenced area to allow the grass to grow around the playground.

Friday, March 29, 2024 - Our Park Maintenance staff is beginning demolition on the Rambling River Park tennis courts. Once the tennis courts have been removed, a new inclusive playground with a poured-in-place rubber playground surface will be installed as part of the Rambling River Park master plan

Master Plan

Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 - HKGi presented the preferred concept plan and process to the City Council. The Council approved the plan.
