Farmington Police Values

The members of the Farmington Police Department will demonstrate their ethics, professionalism, and commitment to service in all aspects of our lives. In doing so, we will reflect these values of the Farmington Police Department.

Ethics: The members of the Farmington Police Department will maintain the highest possible ethical standard, both personally and professionally. There is no right way to do the wrong thing.

Performance: The members of the Farmington Police Department will perform in accord with the highest professional standards. This level will be achieved and maintained through continued training and practical application.

Law Enforcement: The members of the Farmington Police Department will enforce the law in a consistent and impartial manner to the best of their abilities without favor, malice or ill will.

Community Service: The members of the Farmington Police Department will extend all possible services to the community and the profession. Services will be provided to the very limits that time, ability and resources impose.

Youth: The members of the Farmington Police Department will recognize the future of our community rests in the success or failure of our youth. Every effort will be made and every opportunity seized to encourage, promote and educate our young citizens in the development of a positive lifestyle.
